The idea behind it
A lot of people skip the dentist for one reason: no dental insurance, so no obvious way to budget for a cleaning, let alone anything larger. Then a small problem grows into an expensive one.
An in-office program is our own answer to that. You join the program through the practice and receive member pricing on care here, without an insurance company in the middle.
Because the practice runs it, the terms are ours to set and they can change. Ask our front desk for current details before you join.
Who tends to join
- Patients with no dental insurance at all
- Self-employed people and small business owners who buy their own coverage
- Retirees whose dental benefits ended
- Families paying out of pocket for several people at once
- Anyone who wants to stay on a regular cleaning schedule without a benefits plan
What it is not
This is not dental insurance, and it is important not to think of it as insurance. There is no carrier, no claims, no deductible, no annual maximum, and no waiting on an insurer to decide anything.
It also does not replace insurance if you already have it. If you carry a PPO dental plan, call us with your details first and let us check your benefits. That is usually the better route.
The program applies to care received at our office. It is not a card that works elsewhere.
How to join
- Call or text us. Reach the office at (713) 668-8383 and say you want to hear about the in-office discount program.
- Ask for current details. Ask our front desk what the program covers today, what it costs, how long a membership runs, and who in your household it can include.
- Confirm it fits. If you already have dental coverage, let us check your plan first so you are not paying twice for the same thing.
- Enroll at the office. Sign up with our front desk, then book your appointment.

Is this dental insurance?
No. It is a membership program run directly by Bellaire Dental Group. There is no insurance carrier, no claims process, no deductible, and no annual maximum.
Can I use it if I already have a dental plan?
Usually there is no need. If you carry PPO dental coverage, call us with your plan details first and we will check your benefits, since that is often the better option.
Does it cover my whole family?

Can I still use it for larger treatment?
Ask the front desk how the program applies to the specific treatment Dr. Valter recommends. For larger cases, you can also apply to Cherry, a third-party financing company, for a payment plan.
