Nondiscrimination and Language Assistance

Bellaire Dental Group treats every patient with the same care and respect, and provides free language assistance so that a language barrier never stands between you and dental treatment.

Our commitment

Bellaire Dental Group does not exclude people from care, deny them services, or treat them differently because of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, or any other status protected by law.

Practically, that means an interpreter or a team member who speaks your language when you need one, a willingness to write things down or slow down if that helps you understand your options, and accessible ways to reach us and to receive information about your care.

Language assistance is free

Our team cares for patients in English, Spanish, Russian, and Hebrew, from the front desk through treatment. If you speak another language, tell us when you call and we will arrange assistance at no cost to you.

Free language assistance is available. Call (713) 668-8383.

Help with disabilities

If a disability makes it harder to communicate with us or to use this website, tell us what would help. That might be written materials, extra time, or assistance getting into the office. Our approach to the website itself is described on our accessibility page.

If you believe you were treated unfairly

Tell us first if you are comfortable doing so: call or text (713) 668-8383, or write to Bellaire Dental Group, 6699 Chimney Rock Rd, Suite 101, Houston, TX 77081. We would rather hear about it and fix it.

You may also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. Filing a complaint will not affect the care you receive here.

Note to the practice: Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act requires a nondiscrimination notice, and taglines in the most common languages in the state, from providers who receive federal financial assistance, which for most practices means Medicare or Medicaid participation. Confirm with your attorney whether it applies to you. If it does, the taglines above should be expanded to the top languages for Texas, and the notice should name your designated civil rights coordinator.

Common questions

Do you charge for an interpreter?

No. Language assistance is free. Our own team covers English, Spanish, Russian, and Hebrew, and we arrange help for other languages at no cost to you.

Can a family member interpret for me?

You are welcome to bring someone, but you are never required to. Tell us what you prefer when you book by calling (713) 668-8383.
